About Frackville PA
Frackville is a popular spot for travelers who are traveling through Pennsylvania on interstate 81. There are places to eat and local lodging and hotels. The region used to be known for its large shopping mall and movie theatre (The Frackville Mall) but it has closed down in recent years.
Around Frackville, you will find old coal mines, trails to walk and wander as well as great places to ride four-wheelers or dirt bikes.
Frackville was historically supported by the coal mining industry and still has small ties to the industry today. While the town is no longer a mining town, there are a variety of coal mining operations nearby.
In town, you will find history like the Frackville Lithuanian museum which is a small historical niche of the area. Stop in at a local bar to learn things to do, history, and culture from the people that live in Frackville.

Where Is Frackville PA Located?
Frackville is located in northern Schuylkill County. Frackville is located just south of Shenandoah and Girardville. A few minutes south of Frackville is Saint Clair. Frackville is a common spot for people to rest since it is just off of route 81.
You can get to Frackville quickly by taking interstate 81 or route 61. These two roads meet just below the town.
