The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 2025

It’s that time of year again! The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger hosted by the Yuengling Brewery is back in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 26th at 9am. The event will be held right outside of the brewery and will host over 50 local vendors. In addition to this, there will be live music and food after the race. If you plan on running in it, or are cheering on from the sidelines, you won’t want to miss this event! Here is the history behind the Yuengling Light Lager Jogger.

The Start of the Race

The 5K started in 2013 and is a race around America’s Oldest Brewery. The race quickly gained popularity and has since been an event that many look forward to each year. Many have given testimonies of driving over 4 hours to make it to this event.

What Happens at the Race

The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger is not just an event where people can run the 5K, there is something to do for everyone. Each year there is a live concert after the race with many different and delicious foods as well as many different local vendors. Many people dress up in Yuengling themed outfits and celebrate the event all day long. Unfortunately, the historic brewery will not be giving tours on the day of the Lager Jogger but the gift shop will be open so you can purchase all of your Yuengling merch!

Many local businesses in Pottsville will be open on the day of the event. Popular places to eat such as Roma Pizza and Eagle Tavern are offering special deals throughout the weekend of the event.
