About Minersville PA
Minersville is a local town of Schuylkill county that is steeped in mining history, all the way back to 1783. You can find an old rail station, the history of coal mining, and even a massive piece of coal at their high school. The fighting miners of Schuylkill County can be seen throughout the town.
In regards to Minersville PA, the area has an excellent bar scene with a mixture of bars and taverns. It is fitting that a historic national pool champion was from Minersville.
Additionally, the area has a direct connection to many of the back woods trails that ATV riders and dirt bikers frequent. If you have a need for speed you might also want to check out the Big Diamond Raceway.
Minersville Area School District
Minersville Area School District is in central Schuylkill County to the West of Pottsville. Students who attend Minersville Schools live in towns like Minersville, Primrose, Branchdale, and other small towns nearby.

Minersville is located in central Schuylkill County. Minersville is due west of Pottsville PA and east of Tremont.
You can easily reach Minersville from route 81 by taking the Minersville exit and traveling southeast on route 901. You can also access Minersville by taking route 209.
